Decanter Centrifuge Description

Nowadays, the environmental issue has been a focus of attention for the whole world. Before, sewage plants or relevant treatment plants dewatered and thickened sludge by self-sedimentation or filter press and the operating cost was rather high. Over the years, it has been proven by several successful tests that TRON decanter centrifuges are widely used and promoted in the field of environmental protection for such features as large capacity, high automation degree, good dewatering effect, etc.
TRON VFD Series Decanter Centrifuge is a series of centrifuge products improved and developed independently by TRON on the basis of introducing and absorbing overseas advanced technologies, and is mainly applied to urban domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater, chemical industry, food, pharmacy, non-metallic mine and other solid-liquid separation fields using similar production process.
TRON decanter centrifuges include such two series of products as dedicated mud type and environmental protection type. They can meet treatment requirements on mud and solid-liquid separation under various conditions and can settle and separate particles above 2~7μm. After treatment, the mud can achieve ideal properties and realize good recycling, high-efficiency treatment, cost saving and environmental protection.

Decanter Centrifuge Operating Principles

Suspension enters bowl 6 from feed tube 1 and via spiral feed inlet 13; under the action of centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, solid particles with larger specific gravity deposit on the inner wall of bowl, and screw blades 5 making relative motion to bowl constantly scrap off solid particles deposited on the inner wall of bowl and push them out of solids outlet 12. The clear liquid separated overflows out of bowl via pool adjustable plate outlet (liquid outlet 14). The relative motion (differential speed) between screw conveyor and bowl is achieved through differential 16 and is controlled by back motor, and thus the centrifuge fulfills a continuous separation process.
